With a total of 11 CNC machines, most of which run continuously throughout the day, a myriad of tooling is utilised by PartMaker to produce parts. Due to the very subtle differences, especially visually, that comes with the precision tooling used, they create a problem where tools can sometimes be mistaken and a wrong one used for an application. Furthermore, with the continuous operation of the machines, tooling replacement will be required more frequently than usual. To resolve these issues, the MATRIX Maxi Tool Management System Cabinet is utilised.

The MATRIX Maxi Tool Management System Cabinet offers the ability to not only catalogue each and every tool in the PartMaker inventory, but also to enable the ability to have it linked with tooling suppliers to automatically order new tools when a specific one is due for replacement, preventing potential misjudgement in tooling supply management and saving time.

Furthermore, the MATRIX Maxi Cabinet is capable of individually categorising and sorting tools used, where individual access can also be implemented for specific bins to prevent potential misuse or granting unintended access. This increases operation efficiency while also providing increased security for the toolings.
