Speedball is the latest version of the material-specific screws, meaning it has been designed for screwing polymeric materials such as PMMA and printed resin direct to the multi-unit abutment. Speedball was developed in conjunction with Dr Justin Ho, Sydney Australia, with particular interest in addressing the implant needs of Asia Pacific, which, although based on American concepts, often require different hardware.

The Speedball screw has a 2.6mm screw head with wine glass sides and a unique radius on the screw head. It has been designed to work with all screws from M1.4 through to M2.0.
